Vacuum Impregnation
Vacuum Impregnation is a process that involves using a PC504/66 sealant and a rotating water cascade process with recyclable sealant to impregnate parts. This treatment is used on a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and also other materials such as brass, mild steel, plastic and sinter parts. Here at Space Seal we use the latest equipment to carry out this process to a high standard. We have a great reputation within the industry for quality of service and we pride ourselves on delivering great customer service.
The process of impregnation seals micro porosity within casting walls, which is important if the casting is to be used under pressure. Impregnation ensures that it doesn't leak fluids when it is in use. In the Space Seal processing plant we are able to process parts up to 2 tonne and up to a diameter of 1300mm.
