Impregnation Services

Space Seal (Midlands) Ltd is located in Wolverhampton just off junction 12 of the M6. We have been a family business since 1979. We pride ourselves on offering our customers the service and quality required to stay competitive within our industry.

Impregnation -Seals micro porosity within ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Sealants used are PC504/66 & Rexeal 100 (recyclable).

Surface treatment -Hexivalent & trivalent passivate of aluminium & zinc components, to prevent against corrosion, or aid paint adhesion. Chemicals used SurTec 680 & 650.

Cleaning -Chemical cleaning helps to remove loose sand from aluminium castings. Vaqua blast cleaning helps clean components & provides a better cosmetic appearance to all metals.

Shotblast –Rotating belt using fine grit media producing a uniformed finish. Also used to remove sand and corrosion.

Pressure testing – Using air or water to test components to see if they have any leaks, how severe, and where.
